When you lease a car, you aren’t tempted to pour every dollar you make into the damn thing! Now that I own my C30 instead of leasing the Civic, I want to upgrade so much on it. I’m working on a full LED interior light conversion, I want to Polestar tune it, and now I’m trying to find some R or R Design wheels! My wallet hurts! Pictured: A C30 in my color with wheels I really like!

You forgot about painting it Swedish Racing Green.

Even better to buy used. You’ll be spending all your money trying to keep the car roadworthy, so there’s nothing left to even consider upgrades!
Wait a minute...

LED interior lights are the bomb diggity.

Sadly not many, no. I don’t have the habit of taking pictures regularly, and the ones I do take absolutely suck (not helped by the fact a potato could take better quality pics than my several-years-old smartphone)!
I do have this one though, taken the morning after I got her

Works very well to light the black interior!
I started because I had one of my trunk lights burn out within a week of ownership. Auto zone was doing BOGO led bulbs that became cheaper than the normal ones!

Everytime something breaks... it’s an excuse to upgrade that part ;)

That’s true, in part. Leaking heater cores or faulty camshaft position sensors aren’t exactly “upgradeable” stuff, though!

Well, take a look if you can buy a salvage C30 with those wheels. I mean like super crashed. And if you want the “Polestar” look, you might be able to colour match the Rabid Blue Color with Plasti dip. And rabid blue with matte is amazing.
